"When I came up with the title I Am Deanna, I wanted to inspire people who were going through the same problems as me and struggling to find their identities. I wanted to help those in need and share my story to the world. I'm proud of myself for coming so far in my journey becoming Deanna from being evicted and homeless to being hospitalized, from coming out to finding best friends in life, from the beginning of my writing career (which I love) and being a proud and beautiful trans woman."
