When I finish I Am Deanna back in May of 2020 I first decided to publish it with a publishing company called Newman Springs Publishing as my first choice. After I sent my work in to the company I got a call about a week later and gotten word that my book was approve to publish I was really excited I couldn't wait to start but there was a catch. I had to do payments on the project was the first deposit was $495 and $299 a month after looking at the contract I decided to sign the contract without nobody reading it over with me or looking at it. I thought I was doing everything right but after a couple rounds of editing and money taking away from my bank account. I decided to drop out of my contract with the company it wasn't working out with the company so i decided to drop out and taking my book elsewhere, after talking with two other publishing companies and looking at their prices, I decided what better way to get my book out is to self-publish it. I went to a self-publishing company online I work on it for a couple of days and pay for my proof copy to so after I finish it I got the copy two weeks later and after I read it I approve it for sales and sometime later the book was later available on Amazon and it sold worldwide and lucky for me I Am Deanna is a great book for people to read, and I hope my main goal for people to read it and open doors for me to write more books and hopefully open up about my true self as a trans woman.
